Terms of Service

Last updated: 13 October 2026

These terms govern your use of search4grow.com ("Search4Grow.com"), operated by Maksym Bastion, Germany. Questions: privacy@search4grow.com.

1. The licence

Subject to these terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service for your personal job search. You may not reverse engineer, scrape, or use automated access against the service, and you may not copy or republish its outputs for a competing purpose.

2. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of any data you upload (CV, LinkedIn profile, extra context) and for the security of your own account credentials and any mailbox you connect.

3. No warranty; limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of fitness for a particular purpose and exclude liability for indirect or consequential damages. Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the twelve months preceding a claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable consumer-protection or data-protection law.

4. Payments

Credit top-ups are processed by our payment providers (Polar or Stripe). We never receive or store your card number. Purchased credits can be used only inside Search4Grow.com, for paid actions such as AI analysis and CV generation or, where offered, to buy a plan or subscription. Credits are not refunded as money, except where mandatory consumer law grants you a right of withdrawal or refund, and except for the refund of unused paid credits when you delete your account. Paid credits never expire and bonus credits expire after 6 months — see our Credit terms.

Useful Links lets you collect links and lists and, if you choose, share them publicly. The public profile is optional and is off by default. Until you turn it on in Settings → Public profile, nothing of yours is public, other users cannot find or follow you, and nothing you save in Useful Links is visible to anyone else. Accepting these Terms is not your consent to a public profile: that is a separate choice you make only when you turn the profile on.

What becomes public. When you turn the profile on, your name, your main role and a link to your public CV page are shown on your public profile. Your company, your city and country, your contact details (email and phone) and your follower counts are shown only if you switch each of them on separately. Turning the profile on does not publish any list or link by itself: a list or link becomes public only when you move it to Public (or, where available, share it with your followers).

Search engines. Public profile and list pages can be opened by anyone on the internet without signing in and may be found and indexed by search engines. We cannot control copies kept by search engines or other third parties after you remove something.

Followers, feed and notifications. Other signed-in users can follow your profile. Followers can see what you have made available to them. A feed of what you publish and save is shown to your followers only if you switch on "Share my activity with my followers" (off by default; anonymous saves are never shown). You receive in-app notifications about activity on your content, for example new followers, comments and saves, and a weekly summary email if you have chosen to receive it.

Saves. When another user saves one of your lists or links they keep their own copy, and they can do so anonymously, in which case you only see that a user saved it. If you later unpublish or remove the item, saved copies stay with the people who saved them, marked as removed, without your name.

Changing your mind. You can turn the public profile off at any time in Settings → Public profile. It takes one click and a confirmation and takes effect immediately: your profile, lists and links are no longer shown or searchable and can no longer be followed. Your lists and links stay in your account as Private and are not published again unless you turn the profile on and share them again. People who followed you remain linked to your account but can no longer see your profile or content.

Your data. We record when you turn the public profile on or off. You can export your data or delete your account in Settings → Your data; deleting your account also removes your public profile and everything you published. See our Privacy Policy for details on how your data is processed.

6. Security incidents

We maintain the security programme described in our Privacy Policy. In the event of a security incident affecting your personal data, we will notify affected users and relevant authorities as required by law.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Germany. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
